DIRECTV developed the Hotel Premier Package Program as a way to help hotels upgrade their property to meet guest demands for high definition programming. Due to its success, DIRECTV expanded the rebate to cover either SD or HD programming equipment.

Hotel Base Incentive: The Hotel Premier Package buy‐down program enables hotels to offset the cost of the equipment needed to deliver DIRECTV programming.

Hotel Public and Business Viewing Incentive: In addition to the base rebate, an incentive will be available to the Public and Business Viewing space located on the hotel property. New DIRECTV Public and Business viewing accounts receive NFL SUNDAY TICKET(TM), MLB EXTRA INNINGS® and NCAA® MEGA MARCH MADNESS® free for the first year. Hotel Eligibility: New and existing hotels with 50+ rooms and no previous DIRECTV programming services. Offer applies to IN‐ROOM CHOICE TM Package only. Minimum programming requirement of $9.00 per room/per month required. Subject to 5‐Year Commitment Agreement and Credit Approval.
